Hi, guys! It's Jenny! Today, I created a girly and pure looking makeup look with some red colors.
Even though I used all reddish colors and I even used a single shadow on my eyes I think it still came out really pretty.
Alright! Let's start with the makeup! For foundation, I already had applied the one that is a shade lighter than my skin tone.
I think this Tonymoly's foundation is just an average foundation that is not too good nor not too bad.
I also chose a slightly lighter concealer to match my foundation and I'm covering the dark circles under my eyes with just a tiny amount.
The sponge is by Skinfood 🙂 I also put it a little bit on the back of my hand, and with Elf's concealer brush, I'm covering some blemishes on my face.
From now on, I'll try to mention the brushes that I'm using!! I'm decided to skip the bronzer for today, so I chose a highlighting product like this one called "Shy Beam" by Benefit to give my face some dimensions I'm applying it under my eyes to the cheek bones, nose, forehead, chin and also on the smile lines! and I'm lightly blending it with the same sponge.
Now, with a very light-weight powder by Eglips I'm going to set my entire face using Elf's Angled Blush Brush.
Shall we move on to the eyebrows? 🙂 This is the Benefit's Goof Proof? Yes, I'm going to use this Goof Proof brow pencil and I'm filling my brow slightly arched following the natural shape.
Straight eyebrows would also go really well with this makeup so you can definitely go with your preference 🙂 Before we start with the eye makeup, I'm going to apply the same face powder I used on my face to make the shadow to blend much easier.
This is today's one and only shadow, BR442 by Etude House! It is a rosy marsala color.
I think they did a really good job with this muted reddish tone.
With Zoeva's 227 brush, apply the most intensity of the color from the outer corner, and then slowly blend it towards the inner corners.
You can repeat the step couple more times to control how intense you want to get.
then with Aritaum's Small Eyeshadow Brush, we're going to do exactly same for the bottom lash line So place the most color on the end and then drag the remaining to the inner part.
I felt like my lids are not as intense as the bottom so I went ahead and applied some more shadows especially on the outer corner.
And I blending everything with the Zoeva brush.
This reminds me of rose petals in someway 🙂 Next, I'm taking the darkest shade from Kiss Me's Heavy Rotation Brow and Nose Powder, I'm going to make my eyes more awake by creating a very soft line close to the lash line.
I recommend using a powder product like this b/c if you use an eyeliner, it'll make your eyes too dramatic.
(We're going for a pure/innocent look!) I used Zoeva's 217 brush for this.
Fill in your waterline with a brown liner, and curl your lashes with a lash curler.
(by Missha) This is the " One Day Tattoo Eyebrow" by Too Cool For School.
It's not as dark as an eyeliner since it is a brow product but it lasts for a very long time.
so I like to use this to draw on some fake lashes on the ends of bottom lash lines to give it more volume.
Even though at first, you can barely see the strokes but if you keep adding thin strokes like this, you'll get very naturally full-looking lashes at the end ^^ Next is my favorite! The Mascara! This is the "Foxtail Mascara" which Banila Co had recently released.
And this one is the BOMB! It applies to the lashes very nice and clean, and stays put forever.
Do you see the part where we had drawn with the 1day Tattoo eyebrow pen? Lashes are looking much fuller on that area! When you use this method for the upper lashes, it will look very obvious when you close your eyes so I recommend it for only bottom lashes 🙂 Now we're done with the eye makeup!! Going back to the Kiss Me's Brow&Nose Powder, I'm going to contour my nose with the lightest shade.
The brush that I'm using right now is the No.
224 by Zoeva.
For Blush, I actually hauled it a while ago on my channel.
It is the "Dry Rose" by The Saem.
As you can see it is quite strong red color so I'm dabbing a little bit on the back of my hand and start applying it from slightly close to the eyes NOT passing the nose and drag it straight to the cheek bones! I'm using my angled "bronzing brush" by Elf.
Apply it a little bit on your nose to connect it to the cheeks, and then blend the edges to achieve natural/pure look.
Same for the other side, apply the blush a little bit higher than you would normally apply, and lightly connect it to your nose.
Now we're done with the blush, too! Finally we're on to the last step! The LIPS! This is Missha's Matt Painting Rouge in "Say Cheese" which is the one that I fell in love with recently.
It is also a Rosy color.
I looks a little brighter than the other colors we've been using This brush is a "Eye Blending Brush" also by Elf The point of using this brush is to blending the lipstick before it completely dries and to make my lips to look smudged, (kind of like blown out looking.
) I also blend it a little bit over the lip line to make my lips to look fuller.
And then made my cupids bow in a round shape to give some more volume as well.
This will change your entire lip shape, and it will give you a unique look ^^ It looks so different right? This liquid lipstick dries to complete matt finish! I love it so so much! That completes today's makeup! yay! I actually didn't know what to call this makeup so I just named it a "Girly Marsala Makeup" Can you feel that vibe? hehe I think for today's makeup, we didn't need any of special product nor a fancy skill but the important thing was how and where to apply a certain product.
I really hope you to try this look for yourself! and I will see you in my next video! Bye!!! XD.
